THE PERSON BEHIND THE PURSUIT01 / THE STORY
Built through
change.
Driven by purpose.
My name is Marcus Pickett. I’m a competitive golfer, entrepreneur, and founder of Scottsdale Luxury Golf. Faith, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence are at the center of my life.
I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, entered foster care around age ten, and lost my mother at fifteen. Fourteen moves and five high schools taught me how to keep moving forward when life kept changing.
Golf became part of that journey through The First Tee. Today, Scottsdale is home—and the course, the gym, and the business are where I put that drive to work.

Faith keeps me grounded and gives the journey purpose.
Golf.
A lifelong pursuit of better. One shot, one round, one day at a time.

Discipline built daily. Showing up, doing the work, staying ready.
